Paper aircraft distance data used in the video provided via copy on link:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

This video demonstrates a very basic analysis of data generated by students in a statistics course. The focus of the video is on moving data and a chart from the Google Sheets app to the Google Slides app on an Android 12 smartphone.
Laptop or desktop version:    • Stats guided data exploration: Google...

The data consists of the distances paper aircraft flew when thrown from the second floor of the A building at the national campus in six different terms. The first term that the planes were thrown was Spring 2012. In Spring 2016 an El Niño weather event generated a headwind onto the porch. Spring 2020 the planes were thrown on March 6, ten days later the college closed due to the pandemic. Fall 2022 there were two sessions with the aircraft. In the second session the students were taught to build a special paper aircraft dart that is designed to fly further.

What basic statistics are most appropriate to report?
What chart might best tell the story of the data?
Which term saw the shortest distances?
Which term saw the longest distances?
