Google Nexus 7 2012 (4.1) tutorial: The "Missing Manual" and how to install it

Oops, Google didn't include the Nexus 7 user manual with the device. If you click help (if you can find it), it will take you online (via Chrome) to the online help ... which is actually also available as a free book in the Play Books app. It's easier to browse as a book, too. Here's how to "install" the Nexus 7 Guidebook to your tablet, and ensure it's available even when you're off the grid.


UPDATE: With 4.2 they have changed the Guidebook cover, and regular page view seems to have gotten blurred. :( Also, the command to "make available offline" has gone AWOL. The blue dots are there, I just don't see how it's expected to work.

IMHO, following the 4.2 release and the Nexus 4 and Nexus 10 release, they've introduced dozens of usability and stability bugs into Android OS and Google Apps. Hopefully the elves at Google are working hard to remedy this.
