Starting from Shillong, we drive through misty hills, scenic valleys and incredible viewpoints on our way to Sohra. Along the journey, we visit the stunning Wei Sawdong Falls, the beautiful Dainthlen Falls, and the breathtaking Nohkalikai Falls — one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India. We also explore the famous limestone Mawsmai Cave.
This Meghalaya road trip was filled with waterfalls, caves, peaceful forest drives and crazy scenic views throughout the route. We also stay at Tyrna Village, the starting point for the trek to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge.
