When a new dog moves in, you usually have a few days or weeks of vacation before you have to go back to work. Therefore, this is the perfect time to prepare your puppy or young dog for being left alone for the first time. However, many dog owners make the mistake of leaving their dog alone right away, which often leads to separation anxiety. Hello, I'm Dana, and dogs have been a part of my life since I was a child. I completed my training as a dog trainer at the Academy for Applied Animal Psychology and Animal Behavior Training (ATN) and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK). I advocate dog training without extremes, individually tailored to each human-dog team. The focus is largely on working with people.
