SC Split Screen Demo
Completely rebuilt split screen effect featuring:
Easy to use animation timing. Separate In and Out timing settings provided (and In and Out can be separately applied.)
Supports any aspect ratio clip or image.
Three styles: Normal (original stays in place), Slide (original moves to fill the partition area), Squeeze (original is scaled to fit the partition area).
Four directions (Left/Right/Top/Bottom).
Divider (color/opacity/width).
Background fill (color/opacity).
Manual panning controls to assist centering - return to center is automatic (can be keyframed, but no keyframing is required).
Can be used with Titles and Generators.
Certain techniques allow for more than one SC Split Screen to be applied to a single clip for more advanced animations.

This effect is far different than Split Screen 2-Way which has all manual settings and animation requires keyframing.
Demonstrated in this video -
1) Bird: split screen on bird clip with Slide style, split screen on text later to animate it into view.
2) UFO: Onscreen timing assist shows Percentage into clip of the playhead..
3) City view: Bottom split followed by Left split using two separate split screen effects. Both instances used the Squeeze style animation. A Shape Mask (Effects Mask), was used to trim the vertical divider to create a square corner. Two separate titles used for background text.
4) SC Split Screen "reveal" - Split Screen applied to a Basic Title* set with starting In/Out animations set to 0 (no "in" animation) as well as the Out animation start set to 0, with the ending point set to about 35%.
*Basic Title requires some way to define a background shape, so Highlighter was used and set to full screen. Otherwise the title text simply repeats over and over across the entire screen.
5) Sight-Creations Logo: Split Screen used to animate the "lift" starting at about 60% into the clip.
