Student ArtCo Presentation - Lambda School Labs 19
Student ArtCo is an application built by a group of 11 people comprised of UX, web, iOS, and Android developers.
Many schools are underfunded when it comes to their art programs. Many are removing art programs entirely. We also found that students often ended up storing or throwing away art rather than displaying it once they started making more and more pieces.
This helps solve this problem by allowing students to donate their art to support the art programs they love. The school then uses Student ArtCo to list these pieces of art and offer them to members of the community in exchange for a donation.
