From what I've researched, this breed originates from the state of Virginia in the United States and has nothing to do with any type of rat or wolf. The Lykoi cat is the result of a natural genetic mutation in a common cat.
The "mutant" cat is typically dark gray with a few silver hairs. They are born with almost no hair in the center of their face and on their paws.
Their behavior is like that of any cat, and the mutation in their fur is completely normal and healthy.
