Unity: Cursed Chess mobile game
The game is a combination of classic chess and magic. Magical abilities add some chaos to gameplay. The only piece immune to magic is the king.
The game features 4 types of magic abilities:
1) March. It can be applied to a pawn, giving it the ability to move one extra square, which should make for a good surprise.
2) Trap. It is applied to one square with or without the opponent's piece on it (except for the square with the king). It will be activated at the end of the opponent's turn.
3) Sacrifice. Sacrifice one of your own pieces to replace it with another piece that you have on the board. Surprise the enemy and strike like a ninja!
4) Curse. Curse any enemy piece except for the king. If it does not move the next turn, it will be killed.
Features:
The game uses classic chess rules to calculate the outcome of the game.
Players accumulate experience points (for which magic abilities are activated) during their moves or for killing the opponent's pieces.
The game contains tips with description of abilities. Highlighting possible moves for pieces is implemented.
The game is available only against AI with 3 difficulty levels. AI does not only play according to classical rules, but also calculates the best move possible taking into account the chosen ability.
Localization for the following languages has been implemented: English, Ukrainian, Romanian, Russian.
Unity Ads system has been integrated.
