With current anti-Wave unit, killing Mr. Mer shouldn't been an issue. The real problem would be killing Cli-One. Without strong unit like Fishman and Seafarer, taking Clione down would take a while. And it's prone to put you through Punishment Mode. If you don't have good unit that can help you rushdown Clione, at least bring these two unit types:
1. Unit that can snipe-reach Clione from afar. In Star 4, I can only think two units: Jellyfish and Hermit Cat TF
2. Highly spammable AoE units. Usually Cameraman and Cyborg Cat is viable.

Just do the usual. Use Rich Cat and add Doron/Gridiron to the team. You do not need to do it Rich-Cat-less. That's just self-imposed challenge I did to myself. And it was awful.

With less aggressive Red Energy, you have more leeway to play this stage. But I still advice you to bring anti-Surge unit as many as possible.

Same strategy. Lure Relic enemy and ambush them. This time they have much weaker stats so you have more room to lay back.
