Listen… I’ve been looking for a video editor for my social content. And all I’m finding are links to IG or another social media site. Call me crazy, but I think websites still work for portfolio reasons. You can show a whole lot more of your work when it’s in one consistent place. I know websites feel like 1995, but guess who’s looking for your website? Editors! Creative Directors! Local clients! And yes, IG definitely has a great purpose, but if this thing or any social media site goes to trash one day, will you be prepared? How will you let people know that you exist?
