Today we're going to talk about SimCity Classic (1989) and SimCity 2000 (1993), two of the most famous simulation games in history. Developed by MAXIS (later acquired by Electronic Arts), its creator, Will Wright, brought the world of simulation to our MS-DOS PCs (and later to other platforms).
In this video, we'll explain how to play and create a city from scratch with SimCity Classic, the first version of this wonderful simulator, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary. Then we'll explain the differences with SimCity 2000.
These games have had many sequels since then, with varying degrees of success. Be sure to try them out!
