What is the difference between ISO 27001 and 27002?
ISO 27001 is an International Standard for information security management systems (ISMS). ISO 27001 itself a certification process that includes a list of mandatory clauses and Annexes A controls, whereas ISO 27002 provides the guidelines for the tips and techniques to help you achieve ISO 27001 certification.
Organizations can achieve certification to ISO 27001 but not ISO 27002.
