Youngstedts Collision - Episode 7 - 1966 Corvette Stingray Restoration Final Glaze and Gel Coat
Continue to follow along as we restore the finish on this 1966 Corvette Stingray. This week the car goes into the paint booth for Gel Coating! We've been doing body work on it all summer and are excited to have reached this milestone. It's a 327 - 350 horse - 4 speed convertible. It was purchased at an auction in Florida. The engine, transmission, brakes, exhaust, etc. had already been restored. It's a numbers-matching car. The finish needed work. We are stripping the finish and redoing this car cosmetically.
