It's a real shame this game isn't more popular, since ONI is definitely my favorite game. With so many ways to do and use everything in the game, what will I come up with for this run?
Originally, this was all going to be one large video, but after seeing 30 hours of footage, I knew that would be impossible. So this series will be likely 5 videos in this style, and I hope to achieve more insane goals in each one!
The entire premise of this specific run is playing on the new Relicaaaaghhh map in the lab. This map spawns Demolior, the new asteroid in only 10 cycles instead of the ~200 you get normally. The goal is to survive the impact and 100 cycles after that to get a special achievement.
Even though the asteroid impact seems like the end at first, once you survive it, you can get tons of super useful resources, allowing your run to be far more interesting than others. On top of that the Prehistoric Planet Pack adds a new way to get plastic that also gives lime for steel, and is literally dirt cheap. Overall, this run is one of my favorite so far because of all the shenanigans I was able to get up to.
