Have you ever wanted to present and visualize word frequency in some text? The simple and straightforward approach is to count the frequency of the words and use a bar chart to present the data. But there is a neater and more appealing way of doing this, and it is by plotting a Wordcloud of the dataset.
A Wordcloud is an image composed of words where the size of each word indicates its frequency or importance.
In this video, you will learn how to create word clouds in Python, using the Wordcloud module. Through step-by-step tutorials, you will learn how to create a simple rectangular Wordcloud and a masked Wordcloud, i.e. Wordcloud that is bounded by the outlines of a picture.
We will make tribute to one of the worlds best football players ever, Diego Armando Maradona, by creating a Wordcloud of the European football clubs that Maradona scored against, during his spells at Barcelona, Napoli and Sevilla.
