A centrifugal fan simulation in Ansys Fluent sliding mesh, periodic interfaces BladeGen Fluent , FFT
Turbomachinery is one of the most complex engineering systems. This video shows how to carry out a 3D simulation for a centrifugal fan by using the fluid path of the rotor and volute in Ansys to solve the domain in Fluent using sliding mesh technique. Also, Studying pressure fluctuations and fast Fourier transform in Matlab are shown.
