After the series s9 of galaxy phones you will need a watch to measure your daily activities or health related measures like heart rate, blood pressure and so on. Here is my opinion about it. After using it for some time I think you will be better off buying a reasonably priced fitbit rather than a glorified expensive watch 4. Yes you can talk via the phone but without a phone it's just a fitbit unless you pay a lot more for LTE version. In total avoid advertising traps and save money by getting an even a cheap fitbit if you must. Enjoy & happy new year.
