Chimney Cleaning With Explosion
These people, somewhere in China, are cleaning a chimney by throwing a water bag into the furnace. Instantly, a large amount of gas is produced, blowing out the coal ash from the chimney and cleaning it in the process. The reason this creates such a powerful force is that, under the high temperature inside the furnace, the water rapidly evaporates into steam, expanding over 1,000 times its original volume. This sudden increase in pressure generates a tremendous amount of force.
