The process of audio recording and playback in MATLAB is done using the inbuilt functions. Then the spectrum of the recorded sound is displayed. The recording is performed asynchronously using the 'record' method. The recording can also be paused and resumed, and the recorded audio is saved and played back with adjustable volume.
