Distributed computing could be said to consist of two major parts: computing and communication. Juuso's research on implicit parallelization of array programming languages attempts to combine the two. The goal of the research is a similar system to Ethereum's smart contracts: the developer merely pushes the code onto a distributed infrastructure, and the particularities of how the task is executed are abstracted away.
