Andy Cockburn is the Director of Training and Education with NAIMA Canada, a non-profit association representing fibre insulation manufacturers in Canada and North America. He is a Red Seal General Carpenter, a Certified Passive House Consultant and former Algonquin College Perth Campus professor in Construction Carpentry – Advanced Housing.
David Cork is the Founder and President of Solar Management Inc. He provides management and administrative oversight for 6 mid-sized Solar projects owned in partnership with First Nations in Eastern Ontario. David has over 25 years of management experience in Ottawa hi-tech companies including Nortel, Mitel and Natural Convergence, and is one of five Co-Founders of Ottawa Renewable Energy Co-operative (OREC) which successfully raised and invested $8.6M in local Ottawa Solar projects.
Trevor Freeman is a Professional Engineer, a Certified Energy Manager, and is a member of BOMA Ottawa’s Environment and Energy committee. He is passionate about climate change and sustainability, both professionally and in his personal life. He started his career in International Development, before moving into green/sustainable building consulting and energy management, and then finally to Hydro Ottawa 5 years ago. As the supervisor of Hydro Ottawa’s Key Accounts team, he is committed to helping building owners, managers, and other stakeholders better manage their energy consumption and to take bold action as part of the ongoing energy transition to address climate change.
Jennifer Stelzer is the Director of Community and Sustainability Programs at EnviroCentre. Jennifer brings expertise in event planning, community engagement and data development and analysis to the team. Through her professional, volunteer and advocacy work, she has demonstrated her ability to plan and implement quality programs and initiatives that are fun, inclusive and engaging. Jennifer has a BA in Geography with a keen interest in urban landscapes and programs that influence citizen behaviour. She is an avid cyclist and her passion for encouraging sustainable transportation and lighter living is reflected in the work she does.
