Step 1: Install and Open Discord
First, make sure you have the Discord app installed on your device. If you don’t have it yet, download it from the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Once installed, open the Discord application.
Step 2: Log in to Your Account
If you’re not already logged in, enter your email or phone number and password, then tap Log In.
If you have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled, enter the verification code.
Step 3: Access User Settings
Look at the bottom right corner of the screen.
Tap on your profile picture or the three horizontal lines (☰) in the top-left corner, then tap Settings.
Step 4: Open Edit Profile
In the User Settings menu, scroll down and tap on User Profile.
Here, you will see your current profile picture, username, and bio.
Step 5: Tap on the Pencil Icon

Tap Change Avatar to select an image from your phone’s gallery.
Step 7: Adjust and Crop the Image
Once your gallery opens, choose an image.
A cropping tool will appear – resize and adjust the image as needed.
Tap ✔️ (checkmark) or Done to confirm.
Step 8: Save Your New Profile Picture
After adjusting your image, tap Save.
Your new profile picture will now be updated!
