🎯 Which Programming Language Should You Start With? Let’s Break It Down! 🧠💻

Choosing the right programming language for your project can feel overwhelming, right? In this video, I explain the main types of programming languages and which ones you really need to focus on — especially if you're working with automation systems like HMI or SCADA.

👨‍🏫 Here's a quick breakdown: ➡️ Scripted vs Compiled Languages:
Scripted languages (like JavaScript) run directly from your code — more flexible, but heavier.
Compiled languages (like NCC) need to be compiled first — lightning fast, but less forgiving.

🧩 High-Level vs Low-Level:

High-level = easier to learn (e.g., Visual Basic, JavaScript)

Low-level = closer to machine language, harder to use but powerful (e.g., NCC, STL)

🎓 My Pro Tip for Beginners:
✅ Start with Visual Basic – it’s easy, powerful, and essential for most Vinc-based systems.
✅ Then move to NCC – especially if you're dealing with UniFi HMI or newer systems.
✅ Optional: Learn STL (only if you’re working with PLCs).
✅ Finally, if you have time, pick up JavaScript – it’s becoming more relevant in modern setups.

🚫 Sad news: Siemens has stopped supporting Visual Basic in newer HMI Unifi products 😢 So NCC and JavaScript are becoming the go-to choices.

🛠 Bottom line? Mastering Visual Basic and NCC is key to surviving and thriving in automation projects.

💬 Now it’s your turn!
