We're back with another Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 build, and this time we're taking a look at my fully maxed Level X Hunter.
This build is all about Puncture and using the Hunter's kit to weaken the bigger threats so we can put them down as quickly as possible. Elites and anything bigger are the main targets here, but the setup still gives me plenty of firepower to deal with everything else coming my way.
The BD-16 Begho is back again because this rifle is just too damn good. I'm running Grey Market Rounds on it this time, and it gives the Hunter a reliable automatic weapon for dealing with the regular swarm and anything that gets too close.
For the signature weapon, I'm running the Type 102 Directed Force Sniper with Traditional Ammunition for that extra stopping power. When something big shows up and needs to die, this is where the Hunter really starts doing what the kit was made to do.
I'm leaning heavily into Puncture with this setup, using VLAD Bolt and Cryo Pulse to weaken, slow down and control elite targets while I unload on them. The goal is simple: when the dangerous stuff shows up, hit it hard, weaken it and get it off the battlefield before it becomes a problem.
For this showcase, we're taking the Hunter through an actual mission instead of Horde Mode, fighting both Xenomorphs and Synthetics so you can see how the build handles two very different types of enemies.
The Hunter has quickly become a great kit for anybody who likes being able to single out the biggest threat on the battlefield and absolutely hammer it while still having enough versatility to deal with everything else.
More Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 builds are on the way as I continue maxing out the kits and experimenting with different weapons, augmentations and setups.
If you're running Hunter, give this one a shot and let me know what you've been using.
