WIPE ON OR WIPEOUT???? Hpw to get a "glossy" finish on the cheap
Decided to see if a wipe on polyurethane can give good results for very little money. This is Watco Wipe On Poly that's available at most Home Depots for $18.98 a quart currently. I bought two cans but only used less than half of one can during the making of the video. I used it straight from the can onto the applicator. Be sure to wear gloves, it is very sticky but dried to the touch in about an hour. I did let it dry for 5 hours then applied a second coat that is not shown in the video. It did increase the shine but also streaked like the first coat so it is definitely not self leveling. I will let it cure, then maybe wet sand it...maybe.
