D-Gen Host Burkes Backyard: Celebrity Gardener John Clarke
John Clarke and The D-Generation on Burke's Backyard - Prelude
Whilst taking a break from the second series of the ABC's hugely popular Late Show, Santo Cilauro, Tom Gleisner, Jane Kennedy and Rob Sitch guest-hosted Channel 9's gardening programme Burke's Backyard. Having got rid of regular host Don Burke and invaded Burke's renowned Australian native garden, the team put their own spin on the show. As celebrity gardener they chose respected satirist John Clarke, then A Current Affair's Friday night funny man with partner in crime Bryan Dawe. In this prelude to the celebrity gardener segment, Clarke grapples with the entry gate and intercom system.
