How to Transfer Files Between Cloud Storage Services
Want to transfer files between cloud storage services in 2026 without downloading and re-uploading everything manually? In this video, I show you how to use RiceDrive to connect two cloud accounts and transfer files directly in the cloud, saving time, bandwidth, and local storage.
✅ What you’ll do in this tutorial
1) Go to ricedrive.com and log in using your email and a verification code.
2) Open the Link Drive page and connect the cloud storage accounts you want to transfer from and to.
3) Add the first cloud account. In this example, we use Google Drive.
4) Sign in to your Google account, then click Continue to grant RiceDrive access.
5) Go to the My Drives page to confirm Google Drive has been added successfully.
6) Add the second cloud account. In this example, we use OneDrive.
7) Sign in to your Microsoft account and click Accept to authorize OneDrive access.
8) Confirm that both cloud storage accounts are successfully connected.
9) Open the Cloud Transfer page and create a transfer task from one cloud to another.
10) Select the files or folders you want to transfer from the source cloud storage.
11) Choose a destination folder in the target cloud storage.
12) Configure optional settings like filters and how to handle existing files.
13) (Optional) Set the task to run daily or weekly.
14) Click Start up to create and run the transfer task.
15) Let RiceDrive continue the transfer in the background, even if you close the webpage.
16) Check the logs to confirm that all files were transferred successfully.
