Foundations, Cob, & Straw Bale Immersion
During this Mud Dauber workshop we built 3 types of foundations, and a garden wall using cob and straw bale building techniques. The foundation was completed using a rubble trench with a corrugated pipe drain that flows downhill away from the building. We then built a dry-stack stone foundation, a stone facia/concrete hybrid, and a concrete stem wall.
