In this JASP video, I give a broad overview of the NEW Power Analysis Module, based on the Jamovi "jpower" module. It has user-entered field to determine what sample size you might need for a a priori power analysis, it has a post-hoc power analysis, and also allows for a estimation of effect size.

This is just an overview of the module — stay tuned & subscribe for more videos that go into depth on how to use each PA test!

The super-power of this module: the CREATION of data — and the ability to save it as a .CSV — that achieves a specific effect size. This is a significant advancement for this kind of module, because it can give a user random data that converges on the parameters specified. Very cool option!

NOTE: This tutorial uses the new preview/beta build of 0.17. This build contains slightly more functions/features than the previous builds used for tutorials on this channel, but it is functionally the same for the purposes of this tutorial.
