DIY squirrel house 🐿️
This will bring life to your garden – we promise! 🐿️
You'll need:
👉 Back panel 45 x 30 cm, e.g.
👉 Floor 15 x 30 cm
👉 Board 7 x 35/32 cm
👉 Board 8 x 26.5 cm
👉 Hinges
👉 Board 8 x 21.5 cm
👉 Cross braces 20 x 5 mm, length 24 cm
👉 7 cm round rod 13 mm diameter, e.g. pine (item no. 1040898)
👉 Birch discs, e.g. decorative birch disc (item no. 7948409)
👉 CREATE! by OBI varnish, e.g. B. Mia Color Paint (Item No. 9690793)
Here's how:
💪 Screw the base plate to the back wall and then mount the side walls.
💪 Screw the counter between the side walls to the back wall at a height of 10 cm and nail the cross braces to the side walls.
💪 Screw the round rods for the stools to the birch discs. Then mount the stools to the base plate.
💪 Mount the hinges on the roof from above and screw them to the back wall. Paint the squirrel house with a colored paint, if you like!
💪 Drill two holes for assembly. Then you can attach the finished squirrel house to the tree with a tension strap.
💪 Fill the squirrel house with peanuts. Voilà! Now the guests can come!
