Scribble: The Best Feature in iPadOS 14? - Speed Test, First Thoughts and Quick Walkthrough
iPadOS 14 has been announced and it includes a very interesting new feature called Scribble. This lets you input text into your iPad Pro using your Apple Pencil. This is the first time we've been able to enter text in iPad Pro in a way that doesn't loose the screen UI to the virtual keyboard (without using an external keyboard).

In this video I have a quick look at the feature running in the iPad OS 14 developer beta version I currently have installed.
I'm especially interested in how Scribble on iPadOS 14 compares to the other screen-only text input methods, especially when using the iPad Pro in the range of casual positions that the iPad's portability allows for.
I do some tests in this video that compare the speed of using Scribble with one-handed use of the full size on-screen keyboard as well as the mini-swipe keyboard.
I'm also interested in how this text input method lets me bypass Apple's forced use of their QWERTY/staggered virtual keyboard, which is far less optimal than my current key layout ( http://workmanlayout.org ) that I use with my otholinear mechanical keyboard.
