In this video, I reveal an underutilized and powerful idea in the Slav Defense that almost no club-level players use. When White attacks your bishop with Knight h4, most players instinctively retreat the bishop to g6, allowing White to gain a comfortable position. But there's a hidden weapon in the position that can completely bury White's knight on the rim: ...Be4. If White blindly captures this bishop with the knight on c3, then the knight on h4 will become a buried piece. I'll guide you through the reasoning and show you exactly how to capitalize on this buried knight, a concept that's often overlooked.
