Social Skate - 2020 - Interskate
What is Social Skate?
Social Skate is a competition series in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that goes on all summer long, every summer, since the mid/late 70s, rotating to a different host rink every week.
It is a points-based series, in which skaters compete to accumulate enough points in order to make their way into Grand Finals. The top 3 Grand finals finishers win MULTIPLE prizes, trophies AND medals.
***SKATING STYLES***
All skating styles and ages are welcomed, but the primary discipline is Jamskating.
***AGE CATEGORIES***
There are multiple age categories, accommodating skaters as young as 5 (sometimes even younger), all the way to 50 (sometimes even older).
***MUSIC***
Traditional jamskating music (freestyle, electro, "old school" "shuffle" skating music is on rotation and mixed live all night at every location)
