Mining is one of the 6 Trade Skills in Lost Ark. With the results of resources such as ore and precious stones, mining is often used to create, upgrade, or level up certain items or items such as weapons or stronghold items.
▶ 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗘
To mine in Lost Ark, players need to look at the mining nodes of the map. The icon appears as blue crystals in the mini-map. Players could mine at every node twice and then the miner’s ore and miner’s vein would break and disappear. The nodes will appear again after some time on the same spot as always.
▶ 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞
To be able to take part in Lost Ark mining, you will first need to complete the quest called “Crown of Lakebar" in Luterra. Go to West Luterra and you will be able to do the quest. Don’t worry about missing the quest as it will be a part of your main questline. Once you have completed the quest, you will get 6 Trade Skills, of which mining will be one of them.
▶ 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘
As we carry out our professions, we collect experience points and rise to a level with the corresponding number of experience points. As with our character, we unlock new skills. With these skills, we increase bonuses such as :
✅ Higher chance of success
✅ Chance of rare materials
✅ Increased gathering speed
In this profession, there will be 4 phases that you will go through:
1️⃣ Level 1, Pickaxing
It is a kind of passive ability. This phase is a standard skill used to gather ore veins.
2️⃣ Level 10, Perfect Timing
It is a kind of passive ability. In this phase, there is a chance to trigger a mini-game where pressing the key with the correct timing will give an increased chance of yielding rare items.
3️⃣ Level 20, Moonlight Miner
It is an A toggle ability that, when active, increases the chance of obtaining rarer materials at the cost of more energy consumption per mining attempt.
4️⃣ Level 30, Mining Bomb
It is an active ability with a 2 minutes cooldown. Sets up a bomb that destroys nearby Ore veins, dropping lots of ore at once. Can hit multiple veins with one bomb.
▶ 𝗧𝗜𝗣𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞
Mining Ore spawn locations will spawn any of the available harvestable nodes for that map and are always in the same location. So you can either wait or do some mining rotations in the map while you wait for the ore to respawn. However, sometimes they may not be present at a given time. They may not have spawned on that channel, or another player may have recently harvested it.
▶ 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚
Now for the best place for mining. There are different best places in Lost Ark. You can come to this place according to the tier of the material you want.
✅ Lakebar on West Luttera for Tier 1 materials
✅ Meteora for Tier 1 or Tier 2 materials
✅ Alteisen for Tier 1 or Tier 2 materials
✅ Lullaby Island for Tier 1 or Tier 2 materials
✅ Orvis Island for Tier 1 or Tier 3 materials
