HH = Parent group's date - clock's current date/time :format as seconds / 60 / 60 modulo 24 - 0.5 :rounded to 0
MM = Parent group's date - clock's current date/time :format as seconds / 60 modulo 60 - 0.5 :rounded to 0
SS = Parent group's date - clock's current date/time :format as seconds modulo 60

One of the most common needs I've found across nearly every type of app is the ability to count or track time in some way.
It's useful for invoicing, timed quizzes, auctions, sales, countdowns, stopwatches, and so much more...You can find a use for timers in pretty much any app you can think of.
When it comes to adding a timer or clock as a feature in your own app, though, things can get tricky fast, especially if you're not really a "math person."
This lesson teaches you how to create your own timer that counts up from the current date/time or counts down to an expiration date in the future. The best part is, you don't need to mess with any complicated javascript.
