Basic Concepts – Class 1 – Excel Programming with VBA
Welcome to this Course on Excel Programming with VBA.
In this, the first session, we will cover four main topics that comprise the most relevant basic concepts to keep in mind when starting to program with Excel's Visual Basic for Applications development environment. These topics include: 1. Modules in VBA, 2. Procedure Types in VBA, 3. Objects and Collections in VBA, and 4. Properties and Methods in VBA.
During this, Class One, VBA code will be executed in Excel to refine and support the topics covered in this session.
If participants have never previously encountered the Excel programming environment using VBA, please watch the support video entitled "Activating the Developer Tab and the VBA Editor in Excel," available on my channel. It clearly explains how to access Excel's developer functions, namely, the Developer Tab and the Visual Basic Editor (VBE).
