GTA 5 PC Windows 10 no sound or audio - fixes
If you have no audio in GTA V, I really hope this video helps you out - I spent 2 frustrating days trying to solve it before finding something that worked.
These are the fixes I tried, unfortunately not in the order I tried them..:
1) Worked (!): right mouse on the audio icon in the bottom toolbar, open the Volume Mixer and make sure the game is open. Check if GTA V is muted as mine was...
2) Seems to work for many: navigate to the Direct X folder within Program Files - Rockstar Games - GTA V - Redistributables - DirectX and run the DXSETUP file
3) One more to try: go into the Rockstar launcher - Settings - GTA V and run Verify Game File Integrity which will look for missing or corrupted files.
