A tutorial on image colorization using deep convolutional neural network on TensorFlow in Anaconda
In this video, a simple deep convolutional neural network is devised to colorize black and white images. The training dataset for this project was built through first finding a dataset of colored images of natural sceneries and humans and then they were artificially turned into black and white images using MATLAB. This dataset was used to train the network.
Afterwards, the network was tested on real and artificial black and white images. The results showed that the network has done a pretty good job colorizing both the real and artificial black and white images. To access the code and data, use the following link:
