In chapter 6, some temporary tools are built using the new cross toolchain built in the previous chapter.
In this series of videos I demonstrate how to install LFS 11.3 inside a virtual environment using VirtualBox. If you've never built LFS before, don't worry as I show every step in detail from beginning to end. From setting up VirtualBox, disk configuration, fetching sources and compiling, right through to configuration and booting the final operating system.
The end result is a fully working Linux From Scratch system all built from publicly available open source code using the instructions in the LFS 11.3 book.
