Kris Brown's pick six gets things started for No. 1 UMHB
The defense for top-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor made a statement right away in its game at No. 5 Hardin-Simmons, as the Cru's Kris Brown intercepted Ty Hooper's pass on the opening drive and returned it 64 yards for a touchdown. UMHB led 7-0 and went on to win, 17-7 in a Division III football game on Oct. 7, 2017.
