How can I permanently eliminate mold? Good morning, today I want to talk about mold. First, to eliminate mold from ceilings or walls, we need to understand the underlying causes of mold. The most common causes of mold are:
Presence of thermal bridges.
Defective or missing insulation,
Rain infiltration,
Rising moisture from the ground,
Condensation and humidity,
Poor wall ventilation,
Improper heating of private buildings or homes.
Poorly ventilated rooms, especially small ones like bathrooms.
Mold is most common in winter, when the temperature difference between inside and outside increases due to indoor heating.
These temperature changes create condensation spots that favor the deposit of water droplets on the walls. Naturally occurring water vapor in the air, ambient heating, and high relative humidity can suddenly lower the dew point and cause large amounts of water from the ambient humidity to condense in the coldest areas of the walls. To remove mold from walls, you must first determine the cause and then take steps to eliminate it. In this specific case, in my video, the mold is caused by the difference in temperature between the uninsulated attic and the higher internal temperature, so mold forms in the coldest areas.
