Excel for Engineers - Introduction to the FORECAST Function
In this video, I introduce you to the FORECAST function in Excel. The FORECAST function can be used to perform a linear interpolation automatically - without any complicated equations. I'll also walk you through an example where we will use the FORECAST function to interpolate in a table of fluid properties.

Note: In Excel 2016 the FORECAST function was replaced by the FORECAST.LINEAR function. Other than that, same use case.
