How to Make Synthwave Music Using Polyend Tracker

To make a synth-wave track hit the right spot, you always need a nice set of fat chords. This can be tricky on an 8 mono channel machine but if you know how to do it, it's all a piece of cake. In this project, you'll find the chord track on pattern 37. The chords were made out of looped and filtered saw waveforms and then rendered into one single chord track to save a lot of polyphony.
To make it sound more spacey, it's treated with a fair amount of reverb, stereo widening master effect, and panning LFO. Next up is the bass, you will find that one in pattern 38. It is basically a bass line consisting of two identical melodies playing on two different sounds – one for the subs and one for the texture. These two sounds are then rendered into one track to save space for those 80s flavored drums and arpeggios.
