Digitakt II OS Upgrade Tutorial
As of April 2024, new Digitakt II devices need an update to the latest operating system, Digitakt II OS 1.01.
Tools for the Upgrade
1. Download the Transfer tool (if not already installed):

Quick Instructions
1. **On the Digitakt II**:
- Press the gear button to open settings.
- Navigate to ‘System’, then select 'OS Upgrade' and confirm by pressing 'Yes'.
2. **On your computer**:
- Open the Transfer application.
- Connect the Digitakt II via USB and select it within the application.
- Drag and drop the entire .syx file (no need to unzip) into the Transfer tool where indicated.
3. **Back on the Digitakt II**:
- Confirm the upgrade by pressing “Yes”.
- Allow the device to process the update. Do not turn off the device during this process.
- Once completed, the device will prompt for a reboot. Turn it off using the switch at the back, then turn it back on.
