This tutorial presents a Maya plugin to smooth (relax vertices) any mesh in real-time.
It can be useful to fix un-wanted folds or crease in your character rig for instance.
This is a Maya node deformer that can be added on top of any deformer (for instance a skin clusters). You can paint areas where smoothing is to be applied.
Note: this is not subdivision, vertex/triangle count is unchanged it only move vertices akin to a sculpting smooth brush.
