How To Disable IPv6 On Ubuntu 22.04 Permanently
IPv6 isn't needed or wanted, and keeping it enabled can open your system up to security and performance issues.
In this video, we will show you how to make IPv6 disabled permanent.
Commands:
ip a | grep inet6
sudo nano /etc/default/grub
FROM:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=""
TO:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="ipv6.disable=1"
sudo update-grub
sudo reboot
ip a | grep inet6
