In this video, I proudly conduct Chris Potter's revered composition, "Narrow Road," performed by the esteemed University of Utah Big Band. A classic example of modern jazz, this challenging piece showcases abundant metric modulation and non-functional harmony. Mr. Chris Potter himself graciously sent the musical score to the Director of Jazz Studies, Josiah Boornazian.
