Today, I will teach you the basic settings to use immediately after purchasing your land in Second Life. First, go to the About Land menu, click the Options tab. You must choose to set these options to 'Everyone' or a 'Group. Edit Terrain must ALWAYS be unchecked or you open yourself up to accidents and griefing. Fly can remain checked for everyone without harming your land. Build and Object Entry should both be set to Group to keep anyone who wanders onto your land from rezzing objects or building on your land without your consent. The Run Scripts option may be set to Everyone.
