Abstract: Pacific Coffee is a coffee shop originating from Hong Kong and owned by Chevalier Pacific. Hong Kong alone has 120 branches. The coffee shop has since expanded to other Asian countries, including South Korea and Malaysia. Their promise to create a peaceful environment in an urban lifestyle is very promising for a country such as the United States. Industrialization of “trending cafe culture” in the United States, has elevated standards of menu items and environmental aesthetics to a new and radically competitive domain. With a western-style coffee shop culture, can Pacific Coffee be a success in the United States? In this research, we will seek to answer those questions.
