25.XCLIP - AUTOCAD COMMAND
The XCLIP command in AutoCAD crops or clips an external reference (xref) or block to a specified area. The area can be a rectangle or polyline.
How to use the XCLIP command
1.Enter XCLIP at the command line
2.Select the xref
3.Choose the Create clipping boundary button on the contextual ribbon tab
4.Draw a rectangle or select a polygon
5.The xref/block will automatically be clipped to the boundary chosen
